There's a Live Action?!- Ouran High School Host Club

The live action version of Ouran High School Host Club fallows the anime and manga quite well. Since the beginning of all three are the same here is a very short summary. Haruhi goes to a prestigious high school. She is the only scholarship student in her grade. One day she brakes a vase that belongs to the host club. Since she can't pay back the debt she works it off. By being a host of course.
The acting in the live action is ok. Lets put it this way it won't win any awards but it doesn't hurt the show make make it unwatchable. The show it's self only really has three sets. The out side of the school, the inside of the school which is a small double sided stair case, and the host club's club room, that gets redressed for other rooms.
I'm just saying it now, the hair is bad.(do not be fooled my the nice looking picture at the top of your screen) I've noticed in a lot of anime to live actions they try to keep the hair in anime style and it does not translate at all. It ends up looking messy and fake. I'm guessing most of the hair is wigs any way but it could just be a bad style job. The costumes them selves aren't bad but they aren't good either. The girls uniforms look very cheaply made. The boy's uniforms look much better and actually look nice. They work for live action and look just like the anime and manga versions of them.
I didn't like that they added CGI to some of the scenes to make it more anime manga like. Such as Tamki's heart pounding out of his chest or him getting literally thrown against the wall by Haruhi's words. Also, the whole Honey shrinking thing, I did not like. The actor is the shortest one in the cast, but if the wanted a really small actor they should have cast a really small actor. And, not just shrink the one they had.
Also, how can no one tell Haruhi is girl. The actress who plays her is very feminine. I could understand if the actress was more masculine, but she is obviously a girl.
Over all if you are a fan of the series then you should watch the live action. But, there will be a lot of repeats since the beginning is the same as the anime and the manga. If you didn't really like either the anime or the manga then pass. Also, if you have no idea what Ouran High School Host Club is, this is not the way to find out.
