I like how Hajime just leaves Kaoru manga to read. He doesn't say anything it's just there waiting for her on her desk. It's really cute that he doesn't push her to be totally involved in his hobbies but wants to include her all the same. Also, he only gives her the ones that he thinks she will like so that she don't end up reading the one she won't like.
Kaoru is putting the expectations of every one else or using other couples as examples against her and Hajime. When she needs to understand that what works for others people doesn't necessarily work for her and Hajime. They have their own thing and that works.
Hajime is also worried because now they are going to have a baby. He wants to be a good husband and now he has to be a good husband on top of that. He's worried he won't be able to do that. All of these worries are very natural for any one when their life changes drastically. Either by marriage or when you have children. It's normal to have to take a look at your life and what you are doing with it.
Kaoru and Hajime are just being normal reasonable adults. The fact that they are normal and reasonable with normal and reasonable problems is why I like this show so much. They don't have to worry about on of them dying. They don't have to save the world. They are just living with each other and enjoying living with each other. They worry about how their life will effect the life of the other person and that is only natural for a loving couple to do.
