I Can't Understand what My Husband is Saying: 2nd Thread Episode 10 Review

Fool Couple

Kaoru's friend Tobe, from work is crying because she thinks her husband is cheating on her. Kaoru doesn't do a good job of comforting her. She just simply states that "yes she get a divorce". At that remark Tobe says she wasn't serious. This just leaves Kaoru confused.
The conversation does leave Kaoru wondering if hajime would ever cheat on her. But, one look at him and she realizes that's not even a possibility. She does say that he is cheating on her year around with his Waifu Ohime-tan. This reminds Hajime of a time before they were dating, back when they were working together.
A few years ago, A new co-worker started at the restaurant that Kaoru and Hajime meet and worked at. The new co-worker begins to have a crush on Hajime. After she realized that they Kaoru and him liked each other she backed off. A little bit after that Kaoru finds Hajime crying, and assumes he' been rejected. She realizes that she likes him after she get jealous seeing him like that. Hajime remembers it differently.
He felt that the relationship with his coworker was a 2-D relationship with a fake character. When he randomly asked her if she liked him she said no in tears. This made him realize that this was was the 3-D world not his fake 2-D one. He realizes what he did and feel extremely stupid. the fact that Kaoru got mad over the whole situation made him realize his feeling for her.
Later in a cafe Kaoru is looking over a rough draft of a novel. It is her and Hajime's story of that time. It is written by their ex-coworker. She wants to know if it's ok to use it. Kaoru just states it's a little embarrassing.

I really like how Kaoru is so straightforward. She just tells it like it is. Her personality really complement's Hajime's. I also really like just how cute they are together. She just accepts him for who he is even if she doesn't understand all the time. He does the same for her. That how a real relationship works.
I think my favorite part of this episode was the fact that Hajime is able to step out of his world. Even though it hurts him at first. He realizes that the fake world he was living in isn't real. This is some thing I see in all aspects of people when they become extremely involved in something. They now see this as their reality and do not want to come out of their bubble. For him being otaku was his life. He had 2-D girlfriends and didn't venture out of his world. When he does, he ends up being able to fall in love with a real person and start a life with her. He does leave his little bubble, but he doesn't give up what he loves. He still watches anime, reads manga and plays video games. Now, he interacts with the real world as well and doesn't become consumed by this love.
That moment of this episode, is my favorite moment for this whole season. Not just for this show but for all of the series so far. I like it because it is real.
