Classroom Crisis Episode 1 Review

The Transfer Student Who Came in Late

When the show first started it seamed like two different shows, a political drama and a school life slice of life. The school life won out kind of. This show is really not that original. The whole high schoolers have to be the ones to save every one (even though there is a huge company right next door that the school is attached to), over used and dated. When it was first used in shows like Space Battleship Yamato and Mobile Suit Gundam, it was because all of the adults are dead or sick. The kids were the only ones who could fight or were the only ones left. But, that is not the case in this show.
All of the characters are very unoriginal, the who show is unoriginal. There is the overly energetic school girl who likes to tell her older brother what to do, who happens to be her teacher. There's the quite girl who is mysterious and very good at being a pilot or student or what ever. The teacher who is too young to be in the rule he is in, and can't take control of his class. Then the rest of the class who are the weird kid who gets information on all the other students, by hacking. The class rep who really has no power but always tries to be in control. Then the rest of the class who have no personality. These are all roles that we have all seen time and time again. Then to top it all of the boss who is really to young to be a boss, happens to be transferring into the class, it's always a transfer student, and he is an ass. Anime now seems more interested in recycling characters and stories instead of figuring something else to do.
Also, the explanation as to why human's are in space and were the show is set up comes way to late. It's almost at the end of the show. It seems very odd to place it were they did, almost the end. It's good to know what is going on but the writers really need to figure out a better way to tell the audience that.
There really isn't much to say about this show or this episode, it's unoriginal, and frankly boring. Nothing about it made me excited of look forward to it.
~^.^
