Trigun was written by Yasuhiro Nightow. There are two different manga the first Trigun is three volumes and was released in April 1995 to January 1997. The second was Trigun Maximum October 1997 to May 2007, it was 14 volumes. The first release of the manga was sold out quickly and had to be republished.
I'm just going to trow this out there Trigun gets weird. Not weird in a "oh ok" kind way but in a "uh" kind of way. Vash is born from plant that is powering a ship holding survivors of the human race. That's the only thing that I don't like about this series. Every thing else from Vash not wanting to kill any one. To the fact that an insurance company literally pays some one to fallow him around so he doesn't cost them more money. I really like the look of the manga and the whole world Nightow created. I just find the whole Vash is a planet to be to weird.
Next week I'm reading Chobit.
