Old Boy was made in 2003 in South Korea. It is based on a manga by the same name written by Garon Tsuchiya and illustrated by Nobuaki Meinegishi. This movie is not to be mistaken for The 2013 american verison titled Oldboy.

It almost always seem that when ever I start watching an anime or reading a manga, I also find out that there is or will be a live action version of it. Weather it's a movie, a TV show, or a stage production there are live action versions of many many many anime and manga.

Movie Night

Once a week I will be having movie night. I will focus primarily on movies that are not connected to an anime. So there will be no One Piece, or Bleach, or Sailor Moon movies. They will be anime movies just stand alone. And, I'm not just going to do Studio Ghihli movies.
